UPDATE: All full. No more takers.

I've done this before, so let's not all see the same hands. =P

Borrowed from :iconimmortalpanda:

The first thirteen people to comment below will have three of my favorite pieces from their gallery featured in this journal. Have at thee!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Courtesy Artist:
[*]:iconimmortalpanda: creates adorable animal based art. Whether it's furry or MLP mods, it's all cute and all good. :)
I like how she translated her fursona from one type of animal, namely a red panda, to another, namely a pony, and yet, you can still recognize it as her fursona.
Okay, people who are this multi talented are just plain show-offs. :| But, we luvs 'em anyways.
Just to prove she is as good with traditional media as she is with digital (maybe better ;P ).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[1.]You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas; you've just crossed over into the gallery of :iconmisterdoe:.
In spite of how surreal this looks, I can't help but giggle at the young lady's expression. As the title says, "It was there earlier..."
Some clothes just don't like hanging out to dry. And besides, those clothes pins pinch! Impressive how even empty, the clothing looks as if it has mass.
This is my all time favorite. Probably because, were I a gambler, I'd bet there was nothing underneath that umbrella. Of course, I've been wrong before. ;)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[2.]:icont3dragoon: tries to capture the spiritual into a concrete form. Not an easy thing to do, but I think he does a pretty decent job.
If you look at this and just see a floral print, you're missing the point. This is the idea of a flower given substance and life.
There's a primordial feel to this piece. Think of all the tribal groups that have used designs like these: the vast array of Native American tribes, the Meso-American tribes, the indigenous peoples of Australia, the tribes of Africa. Is there some underlying meaning that connects them all? I leave it to you to decide.
Interestingly enough, you get the effect better with the thumbnail. Even so, it's fun to blow it up and get an eyeful of the details.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.]:iconlhiannan: creates art that is disturbing, but in a good way. Her work really makes you think about your preconceived notions of life and how we view it.
This piece makes you wonder, exactly what does it really mean to be the goddess of motherhood.
I'll be honest, there's no real underlying reason for picking this other than I love elephants, and this is a damn fine picture of one.
Another Hathor related pic. This one is much more dynamic and intriguing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[4.]:iconvile1:'s work has a strong urban vibe; graffiti inspired and flawlessly executed.
I love this shirt design. This is what you get when you cross the Blues Brothers with the Sopranos. :D
I'm putting these two together because they both speak of that delicious feeling of danger you get from bad girls. Also, they make a great set.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[5.]:iconladyghostduchess: has a large gallery of pin-up art which covers the range from self portraits to online game characters, much of it done with flair and passion. It was very difficult to pick only three.
This is an older self portrait, but I feel it captures the inner character of the artist.
This rendering of the classical Greek goddess evokes the ancient past from whence it came.
The colors in this picture really grabbed my attention the moment I saw it, so I knew it had to be one of my picks.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[6.]:iconebony-chan: is a very imaginative artist. She does her work with passion, skill and generosity.
This is ~ebony-chan's sayajin (of Dragonball fame) alter ego whose name is...well, Ebony. :D
This is a wonderful piece that combines artistic complexity with emotional simplicity. Heck, that pretty much makes it Zen right there.
I apologize for being biased here, but I had never seen ~ebony-chan do still life art before. This just blew me away.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[7.]:iconj-limit: While this artist's work can sometimes be a little shaky on anatomy, there is an undeniable presence in his art. Powerful lines create powerful images to evoke powerful emotions.
There are only two words I can think of when I see this picture: Ass whoopin'. I feel particularly sorry for the guy at whom this fella is running.
There's no getting around it. This brother is mad. The pencil lines cement that out of control angry feel.
I never pledged in college, but maybe of they had mascots like this, things would have turned out differently. ;)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[8.]:iconspeedslide: does a lot of different things in his work, but by far he's best at character design.
Although this is actually fanart, the sheer manic glee in the character's expression makes this one a winner.
What can I say? This one just cracks me up. We all know someone who's, well, not a graceful winner. ;P
I really like the bilateral design on this guy's costume.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[9.]:iconcrazyman247: does some very nice pin-up work. The results are often quite alluring using simple background designs and winsome facial expressions.
The earnest facial expression seems to contrast with the sultry pose and revealing outfit, presenting a figure with a vulnerable quality that is appealing.
She may not be wearing a breast plate, but that face says she means business, boys. Back away slowly. :o
I was actually interested in what the thumbnail sowed me for this picture. Turns out it's an interactive Flash. Which means there's more to love. :)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[10.]:icondaddysir: is creating a comic using 3D rendering software, but he is also blunting the 3D effect with comic-style outlining. I won't go into particular detail about the three pages I chose, but I do want to point out that often 3D rendered characters are given one of a few stock expressions that quickly become repetitive. ~daddysir has learned how to get the most out of his digital actors' facial repertoire, and it shows in the quality of the story he tells. That's not to say that there are extremes of emotional expression here. The majority of them are very subtle indeed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11.]:iconleviadragon99: creates some heavily armed and armored juggernauts using Bionicle kits and other related modular systems. Check out the three characters he designed that jumped out at me.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12.]:iconlaylo-dred: creates painted styled works which are colorful and vibrant without being oversaturated.
I generally like to include any self portraits that an artist does. Often they describe the person better than most other things.
I love the generic urban feel of this picture. And the subtle emotional tension going on between the two girls really speaks to me. Also, be sure to read the poem in the artist's description.
As far as I'm concerned, Tinkerbell can just hang it up. This is what I call a fairy. :)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[13.]:icon1shinigami: creates mostly pencil drawings, some with basic color enhancements, but his work is very good. And he's only going to get better.
Yeah, the title pretty much says it all. :D
A powerful looking warrior. I love the tattered look of his cape.
This pic rocks. It's generally common knowledge that Japanese mechs are inspired by samurai armor, however, this take a more direct approach.

================================================================
Hi, there!

My name is Trisha, although my friends generally know me by another name. I thought I'd put up this little gallery of pictures of me just to see what people think. As you look through the gallery, keep a couple of things in mind:

[1.] I am a fictional character. I don't really exist in the world as you know it. So, please, no requests for nights on the town, or one night stands (Eww!), or on the spot marriage proposals, unless you really like your women to be two-dimensional. In any case, I'm spoken for. ;)

[2.] I am not the artist. I am the muse, model and star all rolled into one. If you want to see the artist's other works, check out :iconncweber:'s page.

[3.] The majority of the work here is labeled as mature. This doesn't mean that there's any porn going on here. Trisha don't play that! Besides, to my mind, there is a difference between mature and adult. Adult is any material marketed towards those 18 years of age or older (21 or older in some places). Mature has to do with your emotional development. You could be 45 years old and not be mature. So, my recommendation is, if you get off drooling over pictures of nude women, then go buy a subscription to Playboy. However, if you are a person who appreciates the beauty of the human female form in all its grandeur, then by all means, enjoy the gallery. :D
